Casting Materials and Machining Guides
Choose the material and processing questions that matter to your component. These guides connect ADI, heavy steel, A356-T6 and bronze enquiries with treatment, machining stock, critical features and thin-wall behaviour. Use the relevant route to define the grade and final interfaces together, with evidence suited to the acceptance decision.

Six Material and Feature Decisions
Relia combines our own sand casting and machining production in China. The guides below connect your purchasing situation to a component specification, a process decision and the evidence needed for acceptance.
Select by the controlling issue. A treatment sequence, a thick junction and a flexible wall require different manufacturing and measurement questions.

Section Geometry Makes the Material Requirement Practical
Our ADI bracket and mining steel ranges serve different component duties. A pad, rib or heavy junction should remain connected to the selected material and delivered condition, rather than be described only by overall part weight.
Use the ADI guide for the treatment and finished connection sequence. Use the thick-section steel guide for the local section map, soundness regions and inspection access. Each retains its own technical evidence and acceptance scope.

The Constraint Identifies the Most Useful Guide
A material name is a starting point; a finished feature needs its datum, limit and measurement state. Choose the guide addressing the unresolved relationship.
| Your next decision | Most useful starting point |
|---|---|
| Treatment controls the final state | ADI or A356-T6 guide: identify the selected condition and finishing stage. |
| Heavy local sections | Mining steel guide: show junctions and target examination regions. |
| Close fit or related features | Critical-feature guide: define the actual datum relationship and report. |
| Flexible walls or service openings | Thin-wall or diffuser guide: retain the geometry and operating context. |

The Finished Housing Has Its Own Acceptance State
A356-T6 components are offered through selected casting routes with initial or fine machining. For a housing, separate its cast form from the bores, faces and mounting features finally used in the assembly.
The critical-feature guide explains characteristic-specific control. The thin-wall guide adds support and restraint conditions where clamping and flexible spans affect the accepted shape. Follow those routes instead of applying one catalogue precision number to the complete body.

Service Duty Completes the Component Brief
Our bronze flame diffusers combine sand casting and CNC milling. The selected bronze, openings and mounting interface belong with the actual thermal and service environment.
Use its dedicated guide for that component, or return to the material-selection support page for a wider grade discussion. Send the controlling drawing and the feature or material decision needed for your quotation.

07 YOUR NEXT STEP
Bring your component into the conversation
Tell us which component you need, the material, quantity and required supplied condition. Relia will connect your enquiry with the casting, machining and evidence relevant to that part.
