OEM/ODM enquiries include custom gray-iron castings with CNC machining and separately selected household die-cast parts or casting molds. Define whether the order concerns a component or its tooling. Sand and gravity casting are additional route choices to match to the material and design.

Specify the part material and secondary work

Options include aluminum alloy and ADC-designated alloys, brass, copper, bronze, steel, iron and stainless steel. Provide the complete grade. Named secondary services cover CNC turning, milling, drilling, grinding, assembly and packing; identify the operations and delivered interfaces required for the actual component.

Define the tooling independently

Mold-material references are H13, 2344, 8407, 8418, SKD61, DAC and FDAC. The mold-life reference is 100,000–200,000 cycles, with the selected tooling and operating conditions to be agreed. State the mold deliverable, drawing requirements and acceptance basis separately from the cast part.

Locate the precision and finish requirements

The tolerance reference is 0.01 mm. Identify the dimensions, limits and process stage concerned, together with their datum relationships. Finishes include anodizing, nickel or zinc plating, polishing, painting, powder coating and electrophoresis; select a compatible treatment and mark coverage or masking.

Agree approval for the quoted deliverable

Provide quantity and controlled design data for the chosen part or mold. Define material, dimensional and appearance records appropriate to that order. Sample approval should demonstrate the agreed supplied state, keeping component and tooling acceptance attached to their respective requirements.
