Clay-sand and green-sand casting enquiries cover custom household and construction-machinery parts. Cast iron, cast steel, aluminum alloy and copper alloy are material choices, with OEM/ODM support and small orders accepted for a defined component requirement.
Define each component in the requested kit
If the order concerns a parts kit, identify the individual items, quantities and mating relationships on the drawing set. A household fitting and a construction-machinery component can each have their own material and acceptance requirements. List the supplied condition needed for every item so the quotation covers the intended kit.
Select the material and casting requirement
Provide the complete grade and the sand-casting route requested for the actual geometry. Size and color are customized, and machining can be included where needed. Identify the dimensions that must be controlled after any machining and distinguish them from the general casting envelope.
- Identify each component and its drawing revision.
- Select the cast iron, cast steel or alloy grade.
- Specify the mating interfaces and optional machining.
- Define finish, color and supplied-condition requirements.
- State quantities and the checks needed for kit acceptance.
Choose surface work and material treatment separately
Polishing, sand or shot blasting and coating are named surface options. Heat treatment is a separate material-condition requirement to select for the chosen grade. Packing is customized, and applicable ISO9001 supplier documents can be requested with the drawing and inspection brief. These details give the small-order enquiry a clear technical and purchasing definition.
