Package Typepackage as per clients' requirement
Large machine-tool beds, bodies and cast-iron platforms are available for customized casting enquiries. Select gray or ductile iron and the suitable lost-foam or sand-casting route for the actual design. Define the supplied condition needed by the machine installation.
Describe the bed’s support arrangement
Show where the casting is supported and how it connects to the surrounding machine structure. Identify the working duty and load relationships relevant to the selected bed, body or platform. Establish the complete grade and material condition required for that design.
Locate the functional interfaces
Provide a dimensioned drawing showing mounting geometry and the references governing alignment. Put acceptance limits on the relationships that matter to installation and operation. Distinguish cast-state regions from surfaces needing a specified finished condition or additional work.
Define the supplied surface and package
Identify the visible and working areas and the result required at each. Packing follows client requirements, so describe protection for vulnerable contacts and the agreed supplied state. Connect these requirements to the actual casting geometry rather than an unspecified large-part package.
Set the machine-tool casting approval
State quantity, drawing revision and the material, dimensional or surface records required for acceptance. Explain what an initial bed or platform must demonstrate against the machine layout. Retain approved support, interface and material changes with the component definition when requesting further castings for the same machine design.
