Custom projects should identify a motorcycle component, jewelry item, mould or other deliverable before selecting the material and casting route. This OEM/ODM enquiry includes die casting, vacuum casting, investment casting, other machining services and rapid prototyping. The service scope is non-CNC and non-micro machining.

Define the object and material being requested

Provide the geometry and describe the intended function. Material capabilities include aluminum, brass, bronze, copper, hardened metals, precious metals, stainless steel, steel alloys and plastic. A metal part and a plastic prototype need their own grade and process requirements rather than one shared manufacturing specification.

  • Identify the component, jewelry item or mould deliverable.
  • Provide the STL geometry and critical dimensions.
  • Select the material and proposed casting route.
  • State quantity, surface requirements and acceptance criteria.

Select a route for the actual project

Describe the die-, vacuum- or investment-casting requirement for the selected material and design. Define any other machining or prototype work required within the quotation. The process names are enquiry choices, with the actual pairing to be agreed for the item.

Make jewelry and gold-related requests precise

For a gold-related enquiry, identify whether the requirement concerns material, finish or a design description. Specify the applicable metal grade or appearance requirement for that request. This identifies the actual jewelry project without assigning unstated gold content to another material.

Agree finish and quality-control support

Surface treatment depends on the selected item and should be defined with its required supplied condition. Quality-control support is stated for the service. Identify the measurements, appearance checks and records needed to accept the ordered project.
