Surface treatmentCustomers' Demand
Customized valve and pump component enquiries cover steel or carbon steel with separately selected lost-wax silica-sol precision casting and sand casting. Specify the complete grade and the component’s operating requirements. The drawing should define the actual part, supplied condition and interfaces determining its use.
Describe the flow and assembly requirements
Show passages, mounting geometry and any sealing or contacting surfaces relevant to the component. Mark the datum relationships and dimensions used to assess fit. State the service conditions and any design-specific acceptance checks requested for the selected valve or pump part.
Assign machining and material condition
Machining-center work can be included where needed after casting. Identify the interfaces requiring final dimensions and distinguish them from cast areas. Customized tempering is named; a T6-labelled treatment request requires an appropriate alloy and condition, with the actual treatment result defined for the order.
- Provide quantity and the controlled revision.
- Specify the required surface-treatment coverage.
- Identify material and dimensional approval records.
- Define the final condition of functional interfaces.
Set the quotation and qualification basis
The minimum-order reference is 1000, with its counting unit and order basis to be agreed. Request relevant ISO/TS16949:2002 and ISO9001 documentation and applicable supplier scope. Connect sample approval to the selected material, route and component acceptance requirements. The same supplied-state definition should guide production approval for the valve or pump order.
