Agricultural-machine ring wheels can be requested through iron sand casting and CNC machining. Material references are GG25 gray iron or GGG40, GGG45 and GGG50 ductile iron. Select the complete governing specification and required condition for the actual wheel and its working arrangement.
Choose the ring-wheel geometry
Outside-diameter references are 500 mm, 700 mm or customized. Provide the full wheel drawing and relationships with the adjoining machinery components. Mark locating and mating interfaces, with dimensions controlling the installed fit and the required supplied surface.
Separate casting class and finished tolerance
The casting-class reference is CT8. For a ±0.02 tolerance requirement on the agricultural ring wheel, specify its unit, controlled feature, processing stage and permitted limits before agreeing the component’s acceptance. Define measurement conditions for wheel interfaces assessed together after the selected CNC work.
Define surface-process and document scope
Power coating, EP, H.D.G and EG are surface requests requiring the actual process and compatible substrate to be agreed. Identify coverage, appearance and any contact areas needing a different final condition. Request applicable ISO/TS16949 documents with their holder and relevant activity scope.
