HT250 sand-cast pump housings can be requested with CNC-machined flanges and bores for industrial water-pump systems. Define the housing drawing around its actual pump duty and mating assembly. The selected material condition, interfaces and supplied surface should establish the component required.

Select the complete iron designation

Material references are HT250, HT300, QT400, QT500-6, QT600-5 and QT700. Choose the complete gray- or ductile-iron designation and its governing requirements for the particular housing. Keep that selection attached to the drawing rather than assuming the different references describe one material.

Control flange and bore relationships

Assign the unsigned 0.01–0.05 mm tolerance range to specified interfaces and processing stages, with permitted deviations agreed. Mark datums and the relationships governing alignment with adjoining pump components. Define the measurement conditions for assessing the finished flange and bore geometry together.

Specify surface and pump-duty acceptance

Sandblasting, painting, powder coating and a phosphating-related finish request need defined coverage and final condition. Identify any pressure or leakage checks required by the selected housing duty. The stated 100% inspection should name the actual checks and records used for component approval.

  • OEM/ODM requests accept 2D PDF/CAD or 3D IGES/STEP information.
  • Define casting, deburring and any required further work.
  • Wooden-case packing is referenced for the housing.
  • Provide quantity and the controlling revision.

Retain accepted grade and interface changes with the pump-housing definition.
