Heavy-duty pump-housing, valve-body and casing enquiries cover iron or steel sand castings, with separately selected aluminum components. OEM and ODM requirements follow the customer drawing. Identify the complete grade and actual part so that internal geometry, finished interfaces and duty acceptance concern one defined component.
Show the internal and connection requirements
Provide the geometry needed to understand passages, mounting points and sealing surfaces. State the service medium and relevant operating duty for the selected housing or body. Any pressure or component tests required by the design should be identified in the enquiry with their acceptance basis.
- Submit 2D PDF/CAD information or a 3D IGES/STEP model.
- Give quantity and the controlled drawing revision.
- Mark connections, sealing areas and measurement datums.
- Define the required material and delivered condition.
- Identify dimensional, surface and application-specific records.
Separate the cast form from finished interfaces
Machining can be included when needed, and surface treatment follows customer demand. Mark the dimensions to be checked after further work and the condition accepted for remaining cast surfaces. Include any masking or protection needed where treatment meets a connection or sealing area.
Agree documentation and packing
ISO9001, TS16949 and RoHS are qualification or conformity references whose applicable documents and scope should be identified. Carton or wooden-box packing is named. Specify the protection required at finished interfaces and tie any sample approval to the same drawing, grade and supplied condition used for the ordered parts.
