Aluminum motor-end-bell components can be requested through OEM/ODM sand casting and CNC machining. Select the complete alloy specification and required condition around the actual motor drawing. The end bell’s mounting and mating relationships should establish its supplied geometry and functional acceptance.

Choose the material for the selected motor component

Alloy references are ZL101, ZL101A, ZL102, ZA356, A356-T6, AlSi7Mg and AlSi1. Establish the governing specification without treating the labels or conditions as equivalents. Automotive, motorcycle and industrial requests each need the actual component and service duty defined.

Locate CNC-finished interfaces

Mark the dimensions requiring final machining and the references governing their relationships with adjoining motor components. Distinguish those contacts from regions accepted in the cast state. Define measurement conditions where several interfaces must be assessed together for the installed fit.

Assign surface work and inspection checks

Sandblasting, shot blasting, polishing and powder coating are named requests. Identify the selected operation, coverage and final contact or appearance result on the chosen substrate. The stated 100% inspection needs actual checks and records for the end bell.

  • Provide 2D PDF/CAD or 3D IGES/STEP drawing information.
  • State end-bell quantity and the controlling motor-assembly revision.
  • Identify material, dimensional and surface evidence for approval.
  • Retain accepted alloy and CNC-interface changes within the component record.

Confirm further end bells against the approved motor assembly design and supplied condition.
