Industrial pump-casing and body enquiries include gray- or ductile-iron sand castings with sandblasted surfaces. Select the complete cast-iron grade for the actual component and its required material condition. OEM/ODM work should identify the pump-body drawing and required supplied condition.
Define the casing and any separate equipment request
Show mounting, mating and sealing interfaces within the intended pump assembly. State the actual medium, operating duty and design-specific acceptance needed for the component. A separate moulding-press requirement should identify its own equipment and supply boundary.
Set cast geometry and sand-blast acceptance
Mark datums and controlled dimensions governing fit. Distinguish the general cast form from interfaces requiring a particular final condition or additional work. Define blast coverage, appearance and contact conditions at the relevant working surfaces.
Agree the warranty and component records
A one-year warranty is referenced. Specify the covered component and applicable terms with the order. Identify material, dimensional and surface records and any application-specific checks needed for approval of the selected iron pump body. Identify which casing interfaces need joint assessment for the selected pump installation.
