Custom OEM farm-implement enquiries include 304, 304L, 316 or 316L stainless-steel components made by sand/coated-resin-sand casting and CNC machining. Work follows customer drawings or samples. Select the full material specification and required condition for the actual agricultural part.
Define the working environment and acceptance
Identify corrosion exposure and the strength, stability or other service-duty requirements relevant to the farm design. Show the mounting and mating geometry that determines fit in the implement. The material request and approval brief should address those actual conditions rather than an unassigned general rustproof description.
Allocate casting and machining dimensions
CT4–CT8 is the casting-tolerance reference for the stainless castings. CNC machining, turning, milling and drilling are named operations. Identify the controlled dimensions and datum relationships for the supplied stages, separating the cast form from interfaces that require further work.
- Provide the drawing or sample identification and quantity.
- State the grade and required material condition.
- Mark finished interfaces and measurement locations.
- Define material, dimensional and surface approval records.
Select finish and packing protection
Polishing, rust prevention and custom surface requests are named choices. Specify the actual treatment, masking boundaries and final condition at functional areas. Pallet or wooden-case packing is customized by size; include protection needed for the delivered geometry. Connect any sample approval to the same drawing, grade and supplied condition used for production of the farm component.
