Valve-accessory enquiries are offered in 304 or 316 stainless steel through lost-wax precision casting with CNC machining. Other steel-part requests should identify their own complete grade, component drawing and required supplied condition.
- Identify the valve accessory and the assembly it serves.
- Select 304, 316 or a separately specified steel grade.
- Provide the controlled drawing and mating-interface geometry.
- Mark CNC-finished dimensions and appearance requirements.
- State quantity and the required component checks.
Describe how the accessory fits the valve
Show the mounting, locating or moving interfaces that determine the component's function. Specify the relevant valve-service conditions and any component-acceptance tests established by the design. This gives the casting and machining request a defined purpose within the actual assembly.
Locate the 0.2 mm precision reference
Assign the stated tolerance reference to the dimensions and supplied stages needed for the accessory. Include the tolerance convention and any more detailed limits on the drawing. CNC machining can then be discussed around the functional surfaces and the inspection basis for the finished part.
Set the surface checks covered by inspection
Burr, flash and sand-hole control and appearance quality are named requirements. Identify the visible and contact surfaces and the criteria used to accept them. The service states 100% inspection, so define the dimensional, material and visual checks needed for the ordered accessory and keep those requirements with the approved drawing.
