Custom four-groove V-belt drive-pulley blanks are sand cast in gray iron for power transmission. Define the required dimensions and supplied blank condition for the selected drawing. Applications include fans and blowers, water pumps, air compressors and agricultural machinery.

Groove-type references cover the following choices. Specify the actual belt section and the geometry required for the drive arrangement rather than treating every profile as one pulley configuration.

Define the blank and any finishing request
Show the pulley’s overall form, mounting and locating interfaces, and dimensions governing the selected groove arrangement. Identify which geometry must be present in the supplied blank and any subsequent work requested in the quotation. State dimensional limits and the assessment stage needed for acceptance of those interfaces. Include the intended shaft connection and any buyer-specified operating requirements in the initial drawing brief.
Set surface and warranty requirements
Sand blasting or painting are named treatments. Define coverage and the required condition of working or contacting faces. A one-year warranty is listed; agree the coverage for the actual selected design. Provide quantity, controlled revision and material, dimensional and visual approval requirements, including any operating or balance requirements specified by the buyer. Connect sample approval to the ordered blank condition so production acceptance concerns the pulley that has been defined for the drive.
