Custom steel valve spare parts can be requested with sand casting, optional machining and customer-defined surface treatment. Select the complete cast-steel grade and required condition for the actual component. Its geometry and working interfaces should identify the part being supplied within the valve assembly.
Name the applicable grade and document
Material and specification references include ASTM, ASME, EN, ANSI, JIS, DIN and GB. State the complete document and edition governing the chosen steel and component. Explain the operating duty and any design-specific acceptance needed for the industrial, medical or agricultural application.
Define cast and machined valve interfaces
Mark connection, locating and working geometry with the datums controlling fit. Identify which dimensions require final machining and the condition in which they will be measured. Specify surface-treatment coverage, appearance and contact requirements relevant to assembly and operation.
- Supply 2D PDF/CAD/DWG or 3D IGES/STEP information.
- Provide quantity and the controlling revision.
- Identify material and dimensional approval records.
- Specify protection for finished interfaces within wooden-case packing.
Set strict inspection and qualification scope
The stated strict 100% inspection should address agreed characteristics of the selected valve part. Define examination methods, acceptance criteria and reporting, and request applicable ISO9001:2015 documentation and scope. Specify which valve interfaces require joint assessment within that inspection brief. Explain what an initial component must demonstrate and retain approved material, geometry and surface changes with the production-order definition.
