Truck, pump and engineering-machinery casting enquiries cover carbon steel, stainless steel, gray iron and ductile iron. OEM/ODM work includes investment casting with CNC machining or a sand-casting route with CNC. Select the material and manufacturing proposal around the actual component drawing.
Choose the molding condition for the part
Dry-sand and green-sand requirements can be specified independently. Explain the shape, internal geometry and surfaces that drive the molding choice. Identify which areas must remain in a cast condition and which interfaces need subsequent dimensional control for assembly or operation.
Connect treatment and CNC acceptance
Quench-and-temper treatment is available for a suitable selected alloy. Define its required condition and the stage at which controlled dimensions will be assessed. For a pump part, show the working connections and passages; for truck or machinery work, mark the locating and attachment relationships that determine fit.
- State the full material designation and governing document.
- Mark CNC datums and required dimensional limits.
- Assign MT, UT or RT examination to defined areas and criteria.
- Identify the CMM measurements and required records.
Name the documents used for approval
Applicable specification families include ASTM, AISI, DIN, BS, JIS and AS. Identify the particular edition and requirement for the ordered component. The ISO9001:2008 reference should be addressed through relevant documentation and current scope. Link the material, treatment and inspection brief to the approved revision so the quotation describes a consistent finished component.
