Custom OEM and ODM machine-bed casting enquiries include an FCD600 material request, with separately selected grey- or ductile-iron components. Define the full iron specification and governing document for the actual bed drawing. Separate aluminum die-cast requests need their own material and route definition.
Locate the bed from its machine interfaces
Show the mounting and guide/reference geometry used by the design, together with the customized envelope. Drilling, milling, turning and grinding are named operations. The tolerance reference is 0.01 mm; assign its convention, controlled dimensions and delivered stage on the drawing.
Specify examination and engineering deliverables
The named scope includes X-ray or radiographic inspection, laser-tracker inspection, mechanical-property inspection and FEA analysis. Identify the checks, coverage, analysis deliverables and acceptance required for the selected component. Distinguish a measured result from an analysis requirement in the approval brief.
- Provide the drawing revision and ordered quantity.
- State the complete material and supplied condition.
- Mark functional datums and finished interfaces.
- Define material, dimensional and surface records.
Set paint and governing-document requirements
Baking paint and painting are named surface options. Identify the selected treatment and masking boundaries at locating or contact areas. GB, ASTM, AISI, DIN and BS are standard families requiring complete documents and editions. Connect sample approval to the same bed geometry, material requirement and delivered condition used for the order so the final inspection addresses the actual machine component.
