OEM/ODM pump-part enquiries cover selected gray- or ductile-iron sand castings with machining where needed and requested surface treatment. Industrial-machinery, equipment and agricultural components can also be specified by their actual function. Provide the complete grade and drawing for each ordered part.
Choose a material family and governing document
Grade references include GG20, GG25, GG30, HT150 and HT200 for gray-iron selections, and GGG50, QT450-10, QT500-7 and QT600-3 for ductile-iron requests. Identify the complete standard and required condition rather than treating the references as interchangeable grades.
Define the pump component’s controlled geometry
Connect the 0.01 mm tolerance reference to the selected pump part’s interfaces and supplied stage. Mark datums, mounting or connection dimensions and measurement conditions. Sandblasting, mill finishing and primer or anti-rust-oil requests should identify the coverage and final contact condition needed by the design.
- Inspection covers dimensions and heat-treatment condition.
- Hardness, NDT and surface examination need defined methods and acceptance criteria. Identify inspection areas required by the selected pump’s working duty.
- Submit 3D STEP, STP or IGS information.
- Accepted 2D formats include DXF, DWG, PDF and JPG.
Set records for the actual application
Request applicable ISO9001 documentation and scope with the material and inspection brief. Include quantity, revision and any initial-part approval task. Keep the accepted grade, functional geometry and delivered-state definition linked to production acceptance of the pump or separate machinery casting.
