Custom grey-iron sand-casting enquiries cover valve handwheels and machine-control operation wheels, with separate steel and aluminum component requests. OEM and ODM dimensions follow the drawing. Define the wheel geometry, selected grade and required supplied condition for the actual control or valve installation.
Start with the shaft and operating clearance
Show the mounting interface and the geometry that transmits the required operating motion. Identify the space around the rim and adjacent components so that the intended movement and access can be reviewed. Any design-specific operating checks should be stated with the drawing rather than assumed from the handwheel name.
- Submit 2D PDF/CAD information or a 3D IGES/STEP model.
- Give quantity and the controlled drawing revision.
- Mark shaft or mounting geometry and measurement datums.
- Define material, dimensional and surface acceptance.
Specify the finished and treated surfaces
Machining can be included where needed, with surface treatment selected to customer demand. Identify the dimensions that must be finished and any areas where coating or masking affects fit. The required appearance and contact-surface condition should be clear for the wheel being ordered.
Coordinate records and delivery protection
Carton or wooden-box packing is named; include separation and protection requirements for the mounting interface and finished surfaces. Identify applicable ISO9001, TS16949 and RoHS documents and their supplier or component scope. Connect any sample approval and inspection records to the actual drawing and supplied condition used for the order.
