Industrial flywheel enquiries are offered with iron sand casting, optional machining and powder coating. OEM/ODM support can be defined around the grey-iron flywheel drawing, while aluminum, zinc or powder-pattern requests have their own material and deliverable scope.
Control the flywheel geometry and shaft connection
Provide the rim, hub and shaft-interface geometry with the selected iron grade. Mark the dimensions that determine assembly and any surfaces requiring machining. State the balancing and rotational acceptance needed by the design so these requirements can be addressed for the actual component.
Assign the tolerance to the supplied condition
The stated tolerance reference is 0.01–0.05 mm. Identify the controlled dimensions, machining stage and measurement basis to which it applies. The casting, optional machining and finishing scope can then be quoted around the condition in which the flywheel must be delivered.
- Submit the flywheel drawing and selected material grade.
- Define rim, hub and shaft-connection dimensions.
- Mark machined surfaces and acceptance limits.

Separate alternative items from the iron flywheel
Aluminum and zinc components should identify their own grades and manufacturing routes. A powder-pattern enquiry should define the item required and its intended role. Wooden packing is named, and applicable ISO9001:2015 supplier documents can be requested with the selected component's drawing and acceptance requirements. Keep the final material, geometry and surface condition together as the order reference.
