A nonstandard machine-tool casting needs its structural geometry and machined interfaces defined together. This OEM/ODM service accepts gray-iron and ductile-iron components with lost-foam enquiries and CNC processing. The minimum order is one piece, with size and tolerance requirements taken from the customer's drawing.
Control the machine-tool interfaces
Identify the surfaces and connections that locate the casting within the intended machine-tool assembly. Mark the dimensions requiring final work and the reference datums used to assess them. The component drawing should make those requirements visible alongside the overall cast geometry so the machining scope addresses the actual machine part.
Select the grade and stress-relief scope
HT200, HT250, HT300, QT450 and QT500 are iron designations for the offering. Natural aging and secondary stress relief are stated processing methods, with their application to be agreed in the component plan. Aluminum, steel and copper are additional material enquiries whose process and finish should be selected independently.
- Sandblasting and derusting are surface-processing choices.
- Priming can define the requested preliminary surface condition.
- Painting is available for the agreed component finish.
- Powder coating is another finishing enquiry.
- Polishing can be selected for specified surfaces.
- Anodizing is a separate enquiry for the chosen material and requirement.
Keep geometry and surface planning together
Provide 3D, CAD, DWG, STEP or PDF design information with the required material and acceptance dimensions. Identify the intended finish for the areas relevant to the machine-tool application, rather than applying every treatment to the same part. The finished casting brief should connect the selected grade, stress-relief plan and CNC work to the nonstandard component being supplied.
