OEM/ODM industrial motor-shell and other component enquiries include cast iron, aluminum alloy, zinc or steel. Select a compatible sand- or die-casting route for each item. Shape, size and color are customized around the actual drawing and required supplied condition.
Show the shell’s locating and mounting relationships
Identify the motor-shell geometry connecting to the intended assembly. Mark the interfaces determining location, attachment and contact with adjoining parts. For another industrial component, explain its function and operating conditions alongside the material and dimensional requirements.
Set machining and polished-surface boundaries
Machining can be added where needed after casting. Distinguish the cast form from interfaces requiring finished dimensions and define their measurement stage. Polishing is listed; specify coverage, appearance and any contact condition needed where surface work affects fit.
- State the complete grade and required material condition.
- Provide quantity and the controlling drawing revision.
- Identify working and visible surface requirements.
- Specify protection needed within wooden-case packing.
- Explain the purpose of an initial approval component.
Inspect the actual component configuration
The stated 100% inspection should address agreed material, dimensional and surface characteristics of the chosen shell or other part. Define the methods and reporting required for acceptance. Identify which checks assess the motor-shell interfaces together at acceptance. Keep approved geometry, route and surface changes linked to the component definition, giving the customized motor-shell or separate casting order a clear supplied-state and inspection basis.
