OEM cast-iron valve parts are offered with green-sand or shell moulding and CNC machining for industrial, machinery and automotive enquiries. Define the complete iron grade and actual valve component. The selected drawing should establish the geometry and required supplied condition.
Assign the dimensional reference to the actual part
The size reference is 10–2500 mm. Identify the controlled dimension or envelope it describes on the drawing, with mounting and valve-connection geometry made explicit. Mark datums and finished CNC interfaces requiring particular limits and measurement conditions for acceptance.
Select surface coverage around the connections
Electrostatic powder coating and shot blasting are listed treatments. Define the required result, substrate and coverage for the component. Identify masking and final contact conditions at mating or working interfaces, with appearance criteria included where needed for approval.
Name the governing documents
Applicable specification families include ISO, DIN, ASTM, AISI, ASME, AWWA, JWWA, EN, BS, JIS, NF, CAS and GB. Specify the actual document and edition for the order. Request relevant DNV, PED and ISO9001:2008 documentation with its component or activity scope.
- Provide quantity and the controlling revision.
- State the required material condition.
- Define material, dimensional and surface records.
- Explain the purpose of an initial approval part.
Retain the selected route, connection geometry and finish requirements with the order so component acceptance addresses the actual valve casting and CNC-machined result.
