Custom 2 inch stainless-steel Y-strainer fittings can be requested for industrial water and oil pipelines. CF8M is the cast-material reference, with SS304 and SS316 specified separately through complete material requirements. Choose the actual casting grade and supplied condition rather than treating these descriptions as equivalents.
Select the route and component interfaces
Sand and investment casting are enquiry options, with machining and polishing offered for the latter route. Define the connection standard, mating geometry and operating duty for the chosen fitting. Specify filtration and screen requirements and the pressure or service acceptance needed for that design.
Set casting and surface acceptance
The casting-tolerance reference is CT4–CT9. Assign applicable dimensions and supplied stages, with measurement conditions for functional relationships. Polishing, plating and powder coating or a requested finish require compatible surfaces, defined coverage and final contact conditions.
Keep sample inspection within its stated scope
Strict 100% inspection applies to samples. Define the sample characteristics, checks and records required for approval, with production inspection agreed separately. Identify material, dimensional and surface evidence needed to accept the selected Y-strainer component.
- The normal minimum order is one piece.
- Packing uses multilayer wooden box or pallet with a large inner plastic bag.
- State fitting quantity and the controlling pipeline-component revision.
- Retain accepted grade, connection and sample decisions within the item definition.
