Custom cast-iron impeller sand-casting enquiries include separately specified steel-component requirements. Define which item is being ordered and its complete grade and material condition. Dimensions, wall thickness and surface treatment follow the actual drawing and required supplied state.
Describe the impeller’s working geometry
Show the profile and mounting or mating interfaces relevant to the intended equipment. State the rotating or other service duty and design-specific acceptance required by the component. Mark datums and dimensional relationships governing installation and working fit.
Set the wall sections and final surfaces
Identify the geometry defining the required wall thickness and supplied form. Distinguish cast-state surfaces from areas requiring a particular final condition or additional work within the enquiry. Specify treatment coverage, appearance and contact conditions where finishing affects assembly or operation.
Assign inspection to the manufacturing stages
Inspection includes raw-material control, heat-treatment checks and finished-product examination. Define applicable methods and material, dimensional or surface records for the selected component. Explain what an initial impeller or separate steel item must demonstrate before approval.
- Full-process service covers the design and supplied part.
- Agree actual work-package and scheduling arrangements.
- Provide quantity and the controlling revision.
- Retain approved grade, geometry and finish changes with the drawing.
Keep the accepted functional interfaces and delivered-state requirements attached to the order so production acceptance follows the actual impeller or separately defined steel component.
