Large-diameter gate-valve bodies can be requested through custom OEM cast-iron sand casting. Define the complete grade, actual body dimensions and required material condition for the selected valve. Customized wall thickness and surface requirements should follow the controlling component drawing.
Establish the large-body geometry
Show the wall layout and the flange or other mating relationships needed by the valve assembly. Mark locating references and functional limits governing installation. Specify the actual diameter and supplied state instead of relying on the general large-body description.
Define the selected valve duty
State the service medium and operating conditions relevant to the design. Identify any required pressure or leakage acceptance, with the applicable test procedure and criteria. Keep these requirements tied to the actual grade, geometry and required final surface.
Scope inspection and full-process service
Raw-material control, heat-treatment-condition checks and finished-product inspection are named. Define methods and records for the characteristics required by the selected body. Full-process service covers design and component supply, with flexible scheduling and fast response for the agreed work.
- State gate-valve body quantity and the controlling assembly revision.
- Identify material, dimensional and surface evidence for approval.
- Explain the initial-body assessment needed at the mating interfaces.
- Retain accepted grade, wall and connection decisions with the component record.
Confirm subsequent castings against the same large-valve design and its accepted supplied-condition requirements for the selected installation.
