OEM and ODM custom aluminum alloy castings cover distribution boxes and battery housings in customer-defined sizes. Sand casting and die casting are enquiry routes, with machining when needed and surface treatment. Anodizing and customer-requested colors are offered for the selected housing design.
Define the enclosure and its interfaces
Provide the complete aluminum alloy designation and the controlled housing drawing. Show mounting positions, mating faces and openings that determine assembly. Describe the intended application and any requirements for enclosure protection, electrical safety or battery qualification so those needs form part of the actual work package.
Allocate dimensional and finish acceptance
For the 0.002 mm tolerance reference, define the actual permitted-limit convention, controlled features, process stage and measurement basis. Identify which surfaces require additional machining and which receive anodizing. Connect the finished dimensions to the condition in which the enclosure will be assembled.
Agree standards and inspection coverage
Distribution-box and battery-housing orders include 100% inspection, with the actual checks defined for the selected enclosure. Define the checks and records required for the selected distribution box or battery housing. Standard references include GB, ASTM, AISI, DIN and BS; identify the applicable documents and grade requirements for the order.
- State the drawing revision, quantity and initial approval requirements.
- Mark critical interfaces and appearance areas on the housing.
- Identify the application-specific tests and qualification records needed.
The minimum order is one piece. Keep approved design changes linked to the chosen alloy, casting route and final surface condition, so repeat enquiries remain traceable to the same enclosure specification and acceptance plan.
