OEM/ODM aluminum-component enquiries combine selected die, sand or gravity casting with CNC machining. Small quantities are available. Define the full material grade, incoming form and compatible route for each drawing, including the condition required at the component’s working interfaces.
Select the alloy and manufacturing form
Material choices include ADC10, ADC12, A360, A380, A390, 5052, 6061, 6063, 2017 and 7075. Identify the complete grade and condition for the individual part. Show mounting, locating or contact relationships and the geometry relevant to choosing the actual manufacturing proposal.
Plan surface work and CNC acceptance
Powder coating, polishing, nickel plating, anodizing and electrophoresis are named finishes. Specify coverage, masking and the required appearance. Identify the result expected when evaluating the part’s finished working and contact surfaces. Distinguish cast surfaces from CNC-controlled dimensions and define the measurement stage for the finished interfaces.
- Production capacity is referenced as more than 50 tonnes per month.
- Agree allocation for the actual part mix and order quantity.
- Define material, dimensional and surface approval records.
- Identify the controlled revision and the purpose of an initial part.
Set inspection and system documentation scope
The stated 100% inspection before shipment should address agreed characteristics and reporting for the selected component. Request applicable ISO9001, IATF16949 and ISO14001 documents with their actual scope. Retain approved material, geometry and finish changes with the part definition so production acceptance follows the cast and CNC-machined item being supplied.
