    Customer's Drawing Request

Municipal-cover enquiries include ASTM A48 Class40 gray-iron sand castings with OEM/ODM customized sizes. Ductile-iron automotive-machinery components are specified separately. Choose the actual cover or machinery item and complete governing material requirements for its intended installation.

Define the cover’s mating arrangement

Show the geometry and references governing the selected cover’s fit within its installation. State the installation duty and any required cover-load acceptance. Mark dimensional limits and measurement conditions for relationships evaluated together during approval.

Separate gray-iron and ductile requirements

Keep the named material class attached to the gray-iron request. A ductile-iron component needs its own complete grade and condition, with the automotive-machinery function defined for that item. Identify the required supplied state and any surfaces needing a particular final result.

Agree inspection and system-document scope

The stated 100% inspection operates under an ISO9001-system reference. Specify the actual material, dimensional and surface checks needed for component acceptance. Request applicable system documents with their holder and activity scope relevant to the chosen supply. Identify the cover’s final contact condition where its fit is assessed within the installation.

  • Provide the municipal cover or machinery part’s quantity and drawing revision.
  • Identify mounting and mating relationships with adjoining components.
  • Define the records required for initial-item approval.
  • Retain accepted grade, geometry and installation decisions with the component.

Use that approved item definition when confirming further iron castings for the selected duty.
