Brass or copper multi-port manifolds and pipe joints can be requested with sand casting and CNC machining. OEM/ODM dimensions follow the actual fluid-system component drawing. Specify the complete grade, material condition and delivered state for the selected connector or manifold.
Map the ports within the fluid assembly
Show port positions and the required connections to adjoining components. Mark datums and dimensional relationships controlling installation and contact. Identify the passage geometry and interfaces requiring CNC-finished acceptance, with the measurement conditions needed to assess the actual part.
Define the working medium and surface result
HVAC, water-supply, pneumatic, hydraulic and gas-pipeline requests need their actual duty and acceptance requirements. State the medium and operating conditions relevant to the selected material. Painting, powder coating, plating and polishing are finish choices; identify coverage, masking and required appearance around the working interfaces.
- Provide quantity and the controlling component revision.
- Specify material and dimensional approval records.
- Identify surfaces assessed for connection fit.
- Explain what an initial manifold or joint must demonstrate, including the port and connector dimensions checked together during approval.
Set applicable qualification and approval records
Request relevant IATF16949 and ISO9001 documents and scope alongside the component inspection brief. Define the checks needed for the selected geometry and supplied condition. Keep accepted material, port arrangement and finish changes attached to the order so production acceptance follows the actual fluid-system casting and CNC-machined result.
