Choose each complete grade, compatible route and required supplied state for the actual decorative or functional item.
Define appearance and hardware function
Show the surfaces viewed in normal use and the relationships with adjoining components. Identify mounting, locating or contacting geometry where the hardware has a functional role. Establish dimensional limits and the appearance criteria required for that chosen design.
Scope shell, core and CNC work
Shell-making, sand-core work, casting and CNC machining are named processing references. Identify the included stages and the result each must achieve for the selected component. Distinguish cast-state regions from interfaces requiring a final machined condition, with measurement requirements for their fit.
Set the drawing-controlled surface result
Size and governing requirements follow the client specification. Define treated areas, visible appearance and final contact conditions on the chosen substrate. Mark any masking or separate finish requirements where surface work can affect the hardware’s installation.
- Drawing files include STEP, STL and IGS.
- Packing can use carton, wooden box or another specified arrangement.
- Identify protection for visible surfaces and finished contacts.
- State the decorative or hardware item’s quantity and current design revision.
Define material, dimensional and surface evidence for approval, retaining accepted geometry and processing decisions with the selected item for repeat requests.
