Construction-machinery counterweights can be requested in gray iron with separately specified steel or alloy parts. OEM/ODM supply includes sand- or lost-foam-casting scope and CNC machining. Select the complete grade, actual route and required condition for the chosen counterweight component.
Define the counterweight’s working function
Specify the required counterbalancing result and mass acceptance limits for the selected design. Show mounting and contacting relationships within the construction equipment. Identify the operating duty and geometry controlling the component’s installed position.
Set CNC and surface requirements
Mark interfaces requiring final machining, with locating references and dimensional limits. Distinguish them from regions accepted in their cast state. Sandblasting is the named finish; specify coverage and the final appearance or contact condition at the actual working areas.
Agree checks and order scope
The stated 100% inspection and testing need the actual methods, coverage and records agreed for the component. Identify material, dimensional and surface evidence needed for initial approval. A one-piece minimum is named for the selected request.
- Packing can use carton, wooden cases or a custom arrangement.
- Define protection for the counterweight’s finished interfaces.
- State component quantity and the controlling equipment revision.
- Retain accepted grade, route and mounting decisions within the part definition.
Confirm further counterweights against the approved geometry, required balancing function and supplied-state acceptance for the selected construction machinery and its actual installation arrangement.
