Describe the water-pump impeller by the geometry and finished interfaces needed for its actual duty. This OEM casting enquiry includes stainless- or carbon-steel components, with separate iron and A356 aluminum requests and CNC machining. A complete material and drawing requirement gives the impeller proposal a specific basis for route and final-condition selection.

Choose the Alloy and Compatible Route

Lost-wax investment, sand, die and gravity casting are separately selected requests for the actual component. Agree the complete grade and appropriate route rather than assuming every material and process combination is interchangeable. Dimensions are customized to the selected drawing and supplied stage.

Identify the Pump's Working Interfaces

Mark the geometry that governs the impeller's place in the pump assembly and any CNC-finished dimensions. The relevant duty and acceptance requirements should be stated by the design rather than inferred from the impeller name.

  • Impeller geometry can define the actual component shape required by the pump.
  • Shaft interfaces can identify the finished connection requirements.
  • Mating geometry can be specified against the adjoining pump components.

Define the Final Surface and Acceptance

Finishing requests include plating, painting, powder coating and anodizing, chosen for the substrate and functional surfaces. Specify the required treatment, coverage and final condition with the material and dimensional criteria. Those requirements should remain attached to the actual impeller drawing rather than a general casting-service description.

Name the Governing Material Document

ASTM, AISI and DIN are standard-family references requiring the actual document, edition and grade. Provide quantity and the component approval criteria with the selected industrial duty. The completed enquiry should connect the chosen metal, casting route and CNC interfaces to an identifiable water-pump impeller without assuming an unprovided flow, pressure or rotational rating.
