ASTM A27 65-35 carbon-steel slag-pot sand castings can be requested alongside separately specified iron and metal components. OEM/ODM sizes, color and surface treatment follow customer requirements. Select the exact material specification and actual drawing for the part being quoted.
Describe the slag-pot duty and geometry
Provide the required form, connection or handling interfaces and operating conditions relevant to the design. Identify the material condition and acceptance properties needed for the selected steel. Mark the datum relationships and dimensions governing the supplied component rather than relying on a broad industrial description.
Assign machining and surface work
Machining may be included where needed after casting. Distinguish cast areas from interfaces requiring finished dimensions and identify their measurement stage. Specify treatment coverage, masking and the final condition of working or visible faces, with custom color defined where requested.

Set the order and qualification scope
The minimum order is 10 pieces. Industrial, automotive, agricultural-machinery and pump-part requests need their own component requirements, separate from the slag-pot specification. Keep the selected material, geometry and supplied-state definition attached to sample and production acceptance so the casting order has an explicit basis.
