Heavy-duty marine and industrial pump, valve and pipe-fitting enquiries include 304 or 316 stainless-steel sand castings. Select the complete grade specification and component drawing. Aluminum CNC and micro-machining work is a separate material and manufacturing request with its own geometry and acceptance requirements.
Define the stainless component’s interfaces
Show passages, mounting faces and sealing or contacting areas relevant to the selected design. Identify datum relationships and dimensional limits controlling fit. State operating conditions and the acceptance requirements needed for the actual marine or industrial duty.
Specify separate aluminum machining work
OEM/ODM services include customized sizes and an OEM-logo option. For an aluminum part, identify the complete alloy, CNC or micro-machined details and required supplied condition. Mark the dimensions, inspection basis and surface requirements appropriate to those interfaces.
- Provide quantity and the controlled revision.
- Identify the material and manufacturing scope.
- Mark fitted, working and visible faces.
- Define material and dimensional approval records.
- Explain what an approval sample must demonstrate.
Complete identification and application acceptance
Provide logo artwork, placement and the desired result for the selected component. Keep identification coordinated with functional surfaces and appearance requirements. Agree the checks and records needed for the intended use, including any project-specific marine acceptance. Retain the approved material, geometry and supplied-state definition through production acceptance so the stainless casting and separate machined part each have a clear order basis.
