Custom aluminum 90-degree elbow pipe fittings are made by sand casting with CNC milling. Sizes follow the selected design. Define the full alloy specification, connection geometry and final supplied condition for the fitting required by the fluid-transfer system.
Specify the bend and its end connections
Show the internal passage and the relationship between the two connection ends. Mark locating dimensions, sealing or contacting areas and the datums used to assess them. Identify the dimensions requiring CNC milling and distinguish them from the general cast geometry.
- State the actual medium and operating conditions.
- Identify connection type and adjoining-system geometry.
- Define dimensional and surface acceptance at the interfaces.
- Specify the approval records needed for the chosen alloy.
Give the application its own approval brief
Firefighting, aerospace/marine and industrial-fluid-transfer enquiries need design-specific requirements. Identify the component’s role and the checks imposed by the actual project. Request applicable ISO9001:2008 or ISO9001:2015 documents and scope alongside the fitting’s material and inspection records.
Provide files and protection for the machined result
Accepted drawing formats include 2D PDF, CAD, DWG and DXF, plus 3D IGES, STEP and VDA. Include quantity, the controlling revision and any sample-approval task. Packing is customized; specify protection appropriate to the finished connection areas. Identify which connection surfaces require protection throughout handling and unpacking. Keep the agreed geometry and service requirements attached to the fitting order and acceptance records.
