Custom cast-iron counterweight and balance-block enquiries cover loaders, forklifts, excavators, cranes and construction vehicles. OEM and ODM work follows customer drawings, with sand/vacuum-casting requests defined for the actual component. Casting, machining and painting are named within the service scope, with custom color available.
Specify the block through its installation
Identify the equipment model and the location where the counterweight attaches. The drawing should define the required mass and center-of-gravity arrangement together with the mounting geometry. Include the clearances and contact areas that matter to installation of the selected block.
- Provide the controlled component drawing and quantity.
- State the complete cast-iron grade required by the design.
- Mark mounting interfaces and measurement datums.
- Identify the supplied condition and painted-surface acceptance.
Define the dimensional and test acceptance
The casting-tolerance reference is 0.02, with its unit and convention to be specified for the relevant dimensions and delivered stage. A test report is provided. Identify the tests and acceptance criteria needed for the actual counterweight design, so the required report relates to the component being ordered.
Coordinate finishing and handling protection
Mark masking areas where the painted surface meets a locating or fastening interface. Carton, wooden-case or custom packing is named; state the selected arrangement and any separation or protection needed for the geometry. Agree the inspection records and any first-part approval requirements using the same drawing and design acceptance basis as the order.
