An excavator counterweight should be specified around the selected machine's geometry, mounting and required balance specification. This OEM enquiry covers cast-iron counterweights and weight blocks made by sand casting. Size, wall thickness and surface treatment are customized from the component drawing.
Define the counterweight as part of the machine design
Provide the excavator or component drawing with the mounting interfaces and complete envelope. State the required counterweight specification established for the machine. The component should be identified through that design rather than a generic excavator description.
- Provide the machine/component drawing and revision.
- Select the iron grade and required counterweight specification.
- Dimension mounting interfaces, envelope and wall thickness.
- State quantity and the desired surface condition.
Coordinate geometry and custom surface treatment
Identify the features that determine installation and the dimensions that control acceptance. Describe the requested surface result and any mounting areas needing particular instructions. The casting and finishing requirements should refer to the same drawing-defined component.
Agree inspection for the ordered weight block
The inspection scope includes raw-material control, heat-treatment checks and finished-product inspection. Define the material condition and acceptance records needed for this counterweight. Those checks should address the selected grade and component requirements.
Specify the design-to-delivery support
Full-process service from design to delivery is offered, with flexible scheduling and fast response stated. Identify the support and work to be included at each stage of the project. The drawing, required counterweight specification and finished acceptance should establish the supply without assuming interchangeability with another excavator.
