Custom component enquiries cover grey-iron and ductile-iron sand castings for machinery, construction and pump applications. Aluminum-alloy die-cast parts are a separate material and route choice, with optional machining and powder coating defined for the selected item.
Select the component before its manufacturing route
Identify the actual machinery, construction or pump part and provide its drawing. Select the complete iron grade or aluminum alloy required by that design. The material and geometry give the supplier the information needed to discuss the sand- or die-casting scope for the ordered component.
Distinguish cast geometry from finished interfaces
Mark the mounting, mating and connection dimensions that matter to the assembly. Identify any surfaces needing machining and define the condition in which each interface must be supplied. This gives optional machining a clear purpose within the component's drawing-based requirements.
- Submit the selected part drawing and revision.
- Specify grey iron, ductile iron or a separate aluminum-alloy item.
- Identify the casting route requested for evaluation.
- Mark cast and machined acceptance dimensions.
- Define powder coating, quantity and inspection requirements.
Define powder-coating and final acceptance
Powder coating is the named surface treatment. Specify the required coverage, appearance and any areas that need masking or a different supplied condition. Agree material, dimensional and surface checks for the actual part, keeping the selected grade and drawing with the acceptance brief so the finished casting can be evaluated consistently.
