Quality Control100% inspection before delivery
Custom FC300 gray-iron machine columns and bed bases are offered with lost-foam casting. Ductile-iron sand-casting and CNC-machining enquiries are separately specified. Identify whether the item is a milling-machine column, bed base or another machinery component before defining its grade and supplied state.
Show the column’s relationship to the machine
Provide the mounting and locating geometry establishing the component’s position in the assembly. Identify datum relationships and controlled dimensions needed for the requested precision shape. State the working requirements and material condition relevant to the actual column or base design.
Assign cast and CNC-finished acceptance
Distinguish the overall cast form from interfaces requiring a particular final condition. Mark dimensions and measurement conditions for the selected machining scope. Shot blasting is listed; define coverage and the appearance or contact result needed for the component being supplied.
- Provide quantity and the controlling drawing revision.
- Identify the complete grade and governing material document.
- Define material, dimensional and surface approval records.
- Specify protection needed within the listed packing arrangement.
Approve the actual machine casting before release
The stated 100% inspection before delivery should address agreed component characteristics and reporting. Request applicable ISO9001:2008 documentation and scope with the inspection brief. Explain the purpose of any initial casting and retain the accepted grade, machine interfaces and delivered-state requirements so production acceptance follows the actual column, base or separate ductile-iron part.
