Custom tractor-component enquiries cover stainless-steel sand and coated-resin-sand castings with CNC machining. Select from 304, 304L, 316 or 316L, or specify the required grade for the design. Provide a drawing or sample that explains the heavy-duty and long-life application requirements.
Locate the tractor interfaces
Show mounting points, fitted openings and contact surfaces with the datum relationships controlling their fit. Identify the intended tractor assembly and the corresponding geometry in the enquiry. Operating conditions and required material acceptance should concern the actual component and selected stainless grade. Define the checks supporting those application requirements in the purchase brief.
Separate casting and finished-dimension requirements
The stainless casting-tolerance reference is CT4–CT8. Agree its scope independently from the final dimensions requiring machining. Named operations include CNC machining, turning, milling and drilling; assign the required work to the interfaces marked on the drawing.
- State quantity and the controlled revision.
- Identify cast and finished surface boundaries.
- Define material and dimensional approval records.
- Describe the intended condition of working faces.
Specify finish and protection for the order
Polishing and rust-prevention treatments can be customized. Define the selected coverage and any masking around fitted areas, with visual acceptance appropriate to the delivered component. Pallet or wooden-case packing can be sized to the part; identify protection needed at finished interfaces. Keep sample approval tied to the same geometry, material and surface requirements used for the tractor-component quotation.
