Our ServiceSupply metal parts solution as per customer's drawings/ samples
A custom iron impeller should be defined by its vane geometry and the shaft connection required by the intended equipment. This service combines a sand-cast blank with CNC-machining enquiries from drawings or samples. Establish the component's material and finished dimensions so the manufacturing proposal addresses the actual impeller.
Define vanes and shaft connection together
The drawing should identify the vane and flow-path geometry alongside the bore or other shaft interface. Include the dimensions and operating requirements relevant to the intended assembly, rather than relying on the impeller name to establish fit. If a sample starts the enquiry, document the requirements that will govern the new component.
- GGG40 is one material designation for the impeller.
- GGG50 is a separate grade enquiry.
- GGG60 is another customer-selected material option.
- CNC machining, drilling, milling, boring and tapping can be included in the agreed work.
Separate casting from machining requirements
CT9-11 applies to the sand-cast iron blank, while machining capability is stated up to IT7 according to customer requirements. Identify the dimensions and surface-roughness requirement relevant to the finished impeller, including its unit and acceptance basis. The cast geometry and subsequent work should be defined on the same controlled component drawing.
Choose the coating for the intended service
Dacromat coating and finish painting are available to customer requirements. Specify the exact treatment needed for the chosen impeller material and application, together with the final dimensions and inspection plan. Packing uses a multilayer wooden box with an inner plastic bag. For this custom impeller, the completed supply scope should connect the selected iron grade, machined interfaces and requested finish to the intended equipment duty.
