A nonstandard water-pump component should be sourced around the part that must connect to the intended pump. This cast-iron service includes CNC machining and OEM/ODM enquiries, with the drawing defining the required component geometry. Identify the pump part and its interfaces before using a broad housing or impeller enquiry as the basis for an order.
Specify the pump component before selecting its shape
For a housing request, the pump drawing should show the connection features and the areas that locate the adjoining parts. An impeller request needs its own component definition rather than inheriting the housing geometry. Keep the requested cast-iron part's role clear so the casting enquiry refers to the component needed for the actual pump assembly.
- Cast iron is the material for the water-pump component.
- The part is supplied as a nonstandard component.
- CNC machining is included in the service scope.
- OEM and ODM component enquiries are supported.
- The minimum order is 100 pieces.
Let the machined interfaces guide the enquiry
The cast-iron pump drawing should identify which features require final machining and how those features will be measured. Mark the relevant datums and mating dimensions, together with the finished condition required at each interface. A water-pump application name alone does not define the geometry, so the component-specific drawing remains central to the machining discussion.
Set the replacement-part supply scope
For a custom pump component, include the drawing revision, intended quantity and required acceptance criteria with the enquiry. Packaging is available in a plywood case or to the customer's requirement, which can be agreed around the supplied cast-iron part. The final order should identify the precise pump component and its machined condition so the buyer and supplier are working toward the same replacement or custom-part requirement.
