Stainless-steel machinery spare-part enquiries include investment casting with polished or sandblasted finishes. OEM/ODM requests can select 201, 304, 316 or 316L and define the actual component through its drawing, mating geometry and required delivered condition.
Specify the stainless grade and spare-part interfaces
Use the complete designation and governing material document for the ordered part. State the material condition and service requirements established by the machinery design. Show the mounting and working interfaces so the casting enquiry addresses the actual replacement component and the dimensions needed for installation.

Define the finish and inspection acceptance

Keep the accepted surface reference and inspection dimensions tied to the same drawing revision used for the component order.
Complete quantity and qualification requirements
The minimum order is 1000 pieces. Specify the supplied-item and project requirements relevant to ISO9001, IATF16949, CE, PED or RoHS documentation, and request their actual applicable scope. These records can accompany the approved component brief so purchasing evaluates the material, finished condition and supplier requirements together.
