Industrial steel, grey-iron and ductile-iron components are offered through selected investment- or sand-casting enquiries. OEM/ODM customization can define the shape, size and color, with optional CNC work and polishing for the actual part and its finished interfaces.

Use the geometry to define the precision requirement
Show the mounting and mating surfaces that determine the component's function. Assign tolerances and datums to the dimensions that need control. The precision enquiry should be based on these actual drawing limits so the casting and CNC proposal addresses the ordered geometry.
Define the polished surface at receipt
Identify the areas to be polished and the result required for appearance or use. State any relevant roughness parameter, unit or visual reference needed for acceptance. Keep those requirements with the selected metal, particularly where visible and functional surfaces need different conditions.
Specify what the inspection record must establish
The service states 100% inspection and wooden-case packing. Identify the material, dimensional and surface checks required for the actual part, then agree how the finished component will be protected. The approved drawing and supplied-condition brief can give purchasing one consistent reference for the custom shape, color and machined interfaces.
