OEM custom metal parts for industrial machinery can be requested through a selected sand casting or die casting route. The service combines casting, heat treatment, machining when needed and surface treatment. CNC machining enquiries should identify the interfaces and supplied condition required for the machinery component.
Allocate requirements across the process
Specify the actual alloy, drawing revision and required heat-treatment condition. Identify the dimensions to be controlled before and after any agreed machining operations. Show how the component locates in the machine and which surfaces carry its functional interfaces. Keep those requirements connected to the intended assembly and working duty.
Select the finish for the supplied part
Painting, powder coating or a customer-requested treatment can be specified where suitable for the material. Define the appearance and surface condition required on each relevant area. Mark interfaces whose final dimensions affect fit and identify any protection needed during finishing, packing or handling.
Distinguish the inspection scopes
Quality control includes random checks during production and 100% checks of key sizes. Identify those key dimensions on the drawing and agree the records used to demonstrate their acceptance. State any additional inspection methods or coverage required for the particular industrial machinery part.
Supply the controlled design package
Drawing inputs include 2D PDF or CAD and 3D IGES or STEP. Identify which file governs the ordered geometry. Packing combines a bubble bag, carton and wooden crate. Provide the quantity, initial approval stages and component-specific acceptance requirements, and link any approved design changes to the selected material, heat treatment and finished dimensions.
