A customized industrial component needs more than a material name to define the finished part. This OEM service provides CNC turning and CNC milling for aluminum components, with size, shape and color tailored to the enquiry. Other materials and blank-production routes can be discussed separately so the proposed work remains tied to the component's actual requirement.

Give turning and milling distinct machining roles

On an industrial-equipment drawing, identify the surfaces addressed by turning and the features addressed by milling. Mark the datums and critical dimensions that control the completed component, then agree their acceptance requirements for the chosen material. A part-specific machining brief provides a clearer basis for production than applying one general tolerance statement to every surface.

Treat the blank as a project choice

Grey iron and plastic enquiries are separate material options alongside aluminum, brass, bronze, copper, hardened metals, precious metals, stainless steel and steel alloys. For a sand-casting, die-casting or forging enquiry, identify the blank that will enter the agreed machining operations. The forming route and final machining scope should be selected for the particular component rather than combined into one default process chain.

  • Customized OEM work covers the required industrial component.
  • The minimum order is 500 pieces.
  • Dimensions, shape and color are tailored to the part requirement.
  • Painting, powder coating, plating and polishing are finish options.
  • Packaging combines a poly bag, inner box and carton.

Coordinate the finish with the completed geometry

The chosen surface treatment should describe the final condition of the machined component. Identify areas where appearance, contact or dimensional acceptance matters to the equipment assembly, and carry those requirements into the part brief. For a customized aluminum or alternative-material enquiry, that connection between geometry and finish helps define what the supplier is being asked to deliver.
