Custom large iron girth gears and rotary-kiln rings can be requested with sand casting and drawing-defined dimensions. OEM supply should identify the complete grade and required material condition. Define the actual gear or ring boundary and the geometry relevant to its intended kiln assembly.

Show tooth and mounting relationships

Provide the working profile and the interfaces mating with surrounding components. Mark locating and attachment geometry with the datums controlling fit. State the functional duty and any design-specific acceptance needed for the selected gear or ring.

Define wall sections and the supplied surface

Dimensions, wall thickness and treatment are customized to the drawing. Distinguish cast-state form from areas requiring a particular finished condition or additional work. Identify treatment coverage, working contacts and appearance requirements relevant to the actual component.

Set inspection and process records

Inspection includes raw-material control, heat-treatment checks and finished-product examination. Define methods and records needed to approve the chosen grade and geometry. Explain what an initial casting must demonstrate and the supplied stage at which controlled dimensions will be assessed.

  • Full-process support covers the design and supplied component.
  • Agree the selected work package and scheduling arrangements.
  • Provide quantity and the controlling revision.
  • Retain approved material and tooth-geometry changes with the drawing.

Keep acceptance tied to the actual kiln gear or ring and its required final condition, with the functional interfaces identifiable throughout production approval.
