Custom zinc or aluminum component enquiries cover resin-sand, permanent-mold or investment-casting routes with CNC machining. Define the actual mold or part and compatible alloy for the order. Large-size and precision requirements should be expressed through the selected drawing and supplied condition.
Connect the component to the automotive design
Show the mounting, locating and mating relationships with adjoining vehicle components. Describe the working duty and material condition relevant to that design. Identify the geometry controlling installation rather than relying on the general large-part description.
Define mold and CNC-processing boundaries
Choose the actual casting route and specify whether tooling forms part of the request. Mark surfaces requiring CNC work, with dimensional limits and measurement conditions. Distinguish cast-state regions from interfaces needing a final result for the component’s intended fit.
Select the anodized or plated condition
Anodizing, nickel plating, zinc plating and chrome plating are named finish requests. Assign a suitable process to the chosen substrate and define its coverage. Identify appearance criteria, masked areas and final contact requirements where surface work affects assembly acceptance.
- Drawing references are DWG, PDF, STP and IGS.
- State the mold or automotive part’s quantity and current revision.
- Identify material, dimensional and surface records for approval.
- Explain what an initial component must demonstrate at its working interfaces.
Keep accepted alloy, route and finish decisions within the supplied-item definition used for further requests.
