Describe the ductile-iron component in its assembly
Provide the drawing revision, iron grade and mating geometry for the requested part. Dimensions, color and tolerances follow the customer drawing. Mark the mounting and functional interfaces so the quotation can distinguish the casting envelope from any areas requiring particular dimensional control.
Choose the material and route for other components
Carbon-steel, steel and zinc investment-casting requests are separate enquiries within the wider scope. Give each item its own material grade, manufacturing route and acceptance requirements.
